Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, School of Economic Information and Engineering invites applications for a position of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in Computer Science, including Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Computer systems, Cyber Security.
Teach an undergraduate/graduate core computer science course;
Develop a focused area of scholarly research related to computer science;
Supervise graduate student projects and theses;
Provide service to the University, School, profession and community.
Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Computer Science or a closely related field;
Applicants with expected completion of the doctoral degree before January, 2019 will be considered;
Candidates must be able to demonstrate oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position.
Salary, Rank, and Tenure:
Salary is commensurate with professional experience and preparation;
This is a tenure-track, nine-month position with a possibility of summer employment, including mid-term assessment (3 years) and final assessment (6 years).
